The Fastest Elevator

A new skyscraper being built in China will not only be freakishly tall with its 1739 feet (503 meters) in height, but will also be the home of the world’s fastest elevator. With a top speed of 45 mph (72 km/h) this elevator will fling you nearly half a kilometer in the sky in just 43 seconds.

According to the manufacturer specially developed technology will be used to ensure the travelers safety and comfort, regulating the air pressure to prevent ear blockage and securing the car from swinging. This high speed jump into the heavens will be open to the public at a Finance Center in the city of Guangzhou in 2016.
