We know it’s a bit scary to share this information, but if you’re a big fan of flying you’ll be interested to know when most accidents happen. According to research, the first three minutes after flight takeoff and the last eight minutes before the plane lands is when most flight accidents happen.

In other words the pilot faces the most difficulty when the plane is barely in the air.
