MATTHEW ERIC SOLOMON & NANCY KERRIGAN

Many of those who don’t follow sports too much but are a big fan of sports dramas got introduced to Nancy Kerrigan, the Olympian figure skater, in the movie I, Tonya. In 1994, when Nancy was preparing for the US Figure Skating Championships held in Detroit, she was brutally attacked by an assailant, and the incident was depicted in the film I, Tonya. Nancy, who recovered from the injury with the help of her supplemental health insurance, probably didn’t want her son to pursue a career in sports. Perhaps, that is the reason why Matthew Solomon decided to choose costume design as a career. He has already designed costumes for Zeitgeist Stage Company, Stoneham Theater, and many other productions in and around Boston area. All the best, Matthew!
