Carrie Fisher might be famous for her numerous roles, but mostly for portraying our beloved ‘Princess Leia’ from the Star Wars franchise; it wasn’t without the international fame of her mother Debbie Reynolds though. Debbie’s journey as a singer and actress influenced Carrie into following her footsteps, a wonderful investment. Not only do the two women resemble each other, but it seems their bond was truly ethereal. When Carrie passed away tragically in December 2016, the world was shaken; this sad news was followed by an even sadder news, that of Debbie Reynold’s death, barely a day after her daughter’s. Carrie is succeeded by a daughter, and while she must have inherited her mother’s life insurance, we hope the young actress can make a mark for herself soon.
