Dog the Bounty Hunter has really become a celebrity with his long-running television show which follows his work as a bail bondsman, where he takes his work very seriously. He actually learned about bounty hunting when he served 18 months in prison after his friend killed a drug dealer. Questionable past aside, Dog made himself a household name when his own brand of street justice reached a massive and profitable audience.

Alexis Bledel is another celebrity who got her breakthrough to stardom with Gilmore Girls playing the lead role of the beautiful bookworm, Rory Gilmore. After the show ended, Alexis went on to star in shows like Sin City Post Grad, Tuck Everlasting, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and in 2016 she starred in the reprisal of Gilmore Girls. This bright-eyed beauty’s innocent charm made her a must-have for many top directors.

Nadya Suleman (Octomom) – $1 million

Nadya Suleman, coined Octomom by the media, gave birth in 2009 to only the second set of surviving octuplets in the US. She got a lot of media attention, a lot of it quite negative, and when all the fuss toned down, she found herself in nearly $1 million in debt and declared bankruptcy. Since then, she has had many ups and downs but it seems to be working out eventually.
