So the real viral moment came during the 2012 London games when she had the winning goal in the final against Canada. Thus, she finished that year with 28 goals and in addition, 21 assists. Not too shabby. She joined champion Mia Hamm as the only two American women who scored over 20 goals and had over 20 assists during one calendar year.
