Laurine van Riessen

Many knew this Netherland native for not just her Olympic cycling, but long track speed skating. Laurine van Riessen competed in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics in the 500, 1000 and even 1500 meter races. However, it was not the bronze medal she won in the 1000 meter race that got everyone talking.
