Worcester sounds nothing like it looks, but wait till you hear how the area it’s located in sounds. Worcester is situated in Worcestershire , which is actually pronounced “wusta-sheer”. If you take the weird name out of the consideration you’ll find out that it’s a very nice area of Britain. It’s full of old historic building and parks, museums and even Castles.

The Worcester Cathedral is a very old and beautiful example of gothic architecture, it’s been built between the years of 1084 and 1504, and is a wonderful sight to behold. The whole of Worcestershire is incredibly beautiful and quintessentially british in it’s atmosphere. One of the most unusual and unexpected sights here is the West Midlands Safari Park that holds over 165 different exotic species of animals. It’s a great place to travel to for some family fun.
