For Kate and Prince William’s wedding, Fiona Cairns created an incredible 8-tier fruitcake. They chose a second cake made of chocolate for those who don’t enjoy fruitcake. These cost $160,000. Prince Harry and Meghan chose a lemon sponge cake with elderflower syrup and Amalfi lemon curd, made by Claire Ptak. The cake cost somewhere between $60,000 and $75,000.
