During the first season, Sam and Diane had an angry and bitter relationship. Even though they were usually at odds, it was clear that there was chemistry between actors Ted Danson and Shelley Long. Many felt that it was a hint towards a future relationship between the characters. This was exactly what took place as the show went on. However, no one saw the big kiss coming!
