Naomi deLuce Wilding & Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor needs no introduction. The legendary actress started her career in the early 1940’s and was part of Hollywood’s Golden Age actors who designed and built the film industry we know today. Taylor, who was born to a very wealthy family, had the privilege to choose her career, and we are grateful for her appearances in the big screen in great films such as Butterfield 8 which won her an Academy Award in the Best Actress category, Cleopatra, where she and her co-star, Richard Burton, had begun their affair and were later married.

The couple divorced in 1974, remarried in 1975, only to divorce again in 1976. Taylor later starred in soap operas like All My Children which is known to be one of the most successful soap operas to date. Her second-born granddaughter, Naomi deLuce Wilding, was born in the UK and moved in the 90s to live with her iconic grandmother and worked as a fashion designer, while today, she mainly focuses on running her family’s art gallery, Wilding Cran Gallery.
