MATTHEW ERIC SOLOMON and NANCY KERRIGAN

 

Many of those who don’t follow sports too much but are a big fan of sports dramas got introduced to Nancy Kerrigan, the Olympian figure skater, in the movie I, Tonya.

She laid her hands on bronze medals at the World Championships in the year 1991 as well as the Winter Olympics in the year 1992. Aside from that, she has also won silver at the World Championships in 1992 and the Winter Olympics in 1994.

The 1993 United States National Figure Skating Champion, who recovered from an injury with the help of her supplemental health insurance, probably didn’t want her son to pursue a career in sports. Perhaps, that is the reason why Matthew Solomon decided to choose costume design as a career. He has already designed costumes for Zeitgeist Stage Company, Stoneham Theater, and many other productions in and around Boston area. All the best, Matthew!
