Like we’ve said, it always proves to be a great insurance when one is born to power couples, a case not very different for 50 Shades star Dakota Johnson.

When Dakota made headlines with her bold film choice, little did the world know that she was the daughter of 80’s star Melanie Griffith and actor Don Johnson. Melanie started her acting career in the 70s decade and slowly climbed up the ladder of popularity. Some of her major works are Pacific Heights, Another Day in Paradise, Crazy in Alabama, and Lolita.

Dakota looks very much like young Melanie, though the resemblance is less prominent now. We hope the actress goes a long way in the industry; she has after all made a good investment by choosing acting as her career. She is talented and has everything that would take her straight up at the top.
