Usain Bolt

The next “fastest thing” is actually a real person! You may not believe it, but Usain Bolt is the fastest guy in the world. He is the first man to hold both of the 100-meter and 200-meter world records. He is also the first man to win 6 Olympic gold medals in sprinting. An 8-time World Champion, he was dubbed the fastest man alive!

Born in 1986 in Jamaica, Bolt gained world-wide fame for a sprint double victory at the Beijing Olympic Games. Nicknamed “Lighting Bolt” he is currently the highest paid athlete in track and field. Bolt won 3 gold medals at the Athletics World Championship of 2013 and after that he was largely recognized by mass media and became the most phenomenal athlete in history.
